More Than 80% of iPhone 14 Displays Will Be Supplied by Samsung

According to reports, Apple has chosen three-panel suppliers for the iPhone 14 family, and Samsung Display is anticipated to deliver an unmatched quantity to its valuable customer. According to the most recent research, the Korean firm will have an 82 percent market share.

According to the most recent statistics from Display Supply Chain Consultants, Samsung Display’s market share decreased somewhat from 83 percent in the previous year. Samsung anticipates holding an 82 percent market share from June to September 2022, followed by LG Display with a share of 12 percent and BOE in third with a 6 percent position.

The companies above will reportedly provide Apple with 34 million iPhone 14 panels. Around 1.8 million devices were acquired by the technological powerhouse in June, followed by 5.35 million in July and 10 million in August. Apple is anticipated to receive the most significant shipment in September, totaling 16.5 million devices.

This indicates that Apple will need 56 million more panels to meet the demand for the remainder of the year. The iPhone 14 Pro Max will fetch the highest panel shipments out of the remaining three models, according to DSCC’s prior prediction. This is not surprising considering that this model will include the most significant improvements.

Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 14 in its exclusive ‘Far Out’ event on September 7. The Apple Watch Series 8 and iPhone 14 series, as well as maybe additional items, will be the main highlights of Apple’s special September presentation. The 6.1-inch iPhone 146.7-inch iPhone 14 Max6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max are the four different variants of the iPhone 14 that are expected to be revealed in the event.
