Images of The Dragon-Themed MSI GE76 Raider featuring Comet Lake CPU and RTX 3080 GPU Leaked

As we are gearing up for the first-ever online Consumer Electronics Show 2021, MSI is preparing for its special event called “MSI: The Ultimate Shockwave”. It will happen on the 13th of January, and MSI has been marketing the dragon-themed event heavily. Nvidia will be announcing its Ampere based 30-series GPUs for laptops. Initially, Nvidia will introduce RTX 3080, RTX 3070, and RTX 3060 graphics cards. It seems MSI will introduce its high-end gaming laptops featuring Nvidia’s new graphics cards during its special event.

According to an exclusive report from Notebookcheck, which received an image of the upcoming MSI GE76 Raider gaming laptop. The 17.3-inch premium gaming laptop will feature a special dragon-themed lid, which has already made rounds on social media.

The gaming laptop will feature Intel’s Comet Lake processors and GPUs based on Ampere architecture. The laptop’s image received by Notebookcheck features an Intel Core i9-10980H CPU, which is an 8-core multi-threaded processor. It will feature up to the RTX 3080 GPU though it may be reserved for the limited edition dragon-themed model.

MSI may also refresh the GE66 Raider too with 2021 specifications. The 15.6-inch laptop will feature Intel Core i9-10870H coupled with an RTX 3060 graphics card. Other specifications include 16GB of memory and 1TB of high-speed storage.

There is not much information regarding the launch and availability of these laptops though one can find these laptops’ listings on various European sites. According to these listings, the GE66 Raider will start at 2500 Euros, and the higher end GE76 Raider will cost at least 3390EUR.
