Huawei is well known for making one of the best devices in the market. The company was at its peak a couple of years ago. Sadly, in the past year though, the trade war with the US disrupted the company’s offerings to many marketplaces. Then, the absence of Google Play Services really did a number on their entire experience as well and suddenly, the western market wasn’t that interested. Nonetheless, the company continues to make some of the best phones in the market. The P40 lineup was nothing short of amazing. The next iteration, the P50, is going to come out this year and what a way to start it with a couple of leaks of the P50 Pro.
According to this tweet from Android Police, the people from OnLeaks have shown us a first look of the device. While it isn’t much, we have an idea of the front and the dimensions that phone may support.

Right off the bat, we see that it follows a similar design to last year’s P40 Pro. Even the dimensions, as mentioned in the Android Police article embedded above are quite similar to those of the previous model. Design-wise, it supports a curved display on the front. This is done to keep the screen to body ratio to the maximum. Secondly, we have a hold-punch selfie camera style as well. This time around though, they’re going with a single camera setup. This would be an upgrade over the current double-camera setup found on the P40.
Other details are still unknown, even about the chipset inside. Perhaps in the coming week or months, we would know better about the upcoming flagship from Huawei.
