Huawei has officially launched its latest 2020 refresh of its popular Huawei Honor MagicBook Pro laptops. These sleek yet powerful laptops offer several premium features such as a 16.1-inch Full HD+ display, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, 512 GB NVMe SSD, etc.
This year’s IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) witnessed the launch of the latest editions of the Honor MagicBook Series laptops. These sleek, lightweight yet powerful ultra-portable mobile computing devices are featuring the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 Series APUs. Honor MagicBook 14, MagicBook 15, and MagicBook Pro were recently launched in China with the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 CPUs. These laptops retain the aesthetic of the previous generation MagicBook models making them refreshed editions with newly available upgraded internals.

Huawei has launched the Honor MagicBook 2020 refreshed editions but with only AMD Ryzen 5 APUs from the AMD Renoir Ryzen 4000 Series processors. In other words, there might not be Honor MagicBook laptops with AMD Ryzen 7 APUs from the Renoir Series. The processor within the Honor MagicBook Pro is the AMD Ryzen 5 4600H which comes with AMD Radeon Graphics. In other words, there is no discrete graphics chip.
The latest Honor MagicBook Series packs 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. It is internationally available in 14-inch and 15-6-inch display variants. These variants launched at IFA Berlin in September feature 512GB NVMe SSD storage. For connectivity, the latest Honor MagicBook Series comes with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, an HDMI 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and a USB Type-C port. For audio, the laptop has two speakers and two microphones.

The Huawei Honor MagicBook Pro laptop packs a larger display than the other laptops from the MagicBook Series. The MagicBook Pro features a 16.1-inch Full HD+ display with ultra-thin bezels. The screen-to-body ratio is 90 percent. The laptop also features a unique cooling solution with dual fans and dual heat pipes. The rest of the features appear identical to the other two 2020 refreshed editions.
Some of the notable features of the Huawei Honor MagicBook Pro are the pop-up camera, large ClickPad, full-sized backlit keyboard, and multi-screen collaboration. The USB Type-C also acts as a Power Delivery port, and the laptop comes with a 65W USB Type-C Fast Charger. There is also a fingerprint scanner embedded within the power button.
