Honor has released many interesting smartphones this year, we had the Honor 10 and the Honor play among significant releases and they have been good performers for their price.

Specifications

The Honor 8X Max will come with the Snapdragon 660 and with 4GBs of ram. Strangely the naming of the device is a bit off, we had seen the launch of the Honor 8 Pro last year, which was actually a budget flagship. But seeing the specs on the Honor 8X Max, it will definitely be targeted as a mid-ranger device. The device will be 177.57 × 86.24 × 8.13 mm in dimensions and will weigh 210 grams.
Display
This phone will have a 7.12-inch display with a resolution of 2244 × 1080 pixels. The display size is massive and definitely towards the phablet size. This device will be even bigger than the Galaxy Note 9.
Camera and Battery
The phone will come with dual rear cameras on the back with the main cam being 16MP and the second one being 2MP. This somewhat means that the second cam on the rear will be present for depth measurements for the blur effect in pictures. The front cam will come with a 8MP sensor.
There will be a massive 4900MAh battery present inside the hood and it’s not surprising because the phone is pretty big so the makers wouldn’t have a problem fitting it in.

If you see closely, you would be able to spot a small camera notch at the top and a small chin at the bottom. This is something similar to The Essential Phone’s approach design wise. This phone would have a impressive screen screen to body ratio.
According to the leak the phone would be launched at an event in China on 5th September. There will be two varients on launch, the Honor 8X Max and the Honor 8.
