H1Z1, the free-to-play battle royale by Daybreak Games, introduced the battle pass back in August. Following a short maintenance, season two of the battle pass is now live, adding 75 tiers of unlock-able cosmetics. H1Z1’s battle pass offers three reward lines: Free, Premium, and PlayStation Plus.
All players can progress through the free pass, but those who desire exclusive rewards can purchase the premium battle pass for 750 Crowns, for which you’ll need to spend at least $10 to purchase 1050 of the premium currency. Additionally, you can get a 25 tier head start on the premium battle pass by spending 2700 Crowns. The third option is the PlayStation Plus reward line, which will be unlocked automatically for subscribers of PlayStation Plus. On the PlayStation Store, the premium battle pass and exclusive Skull Ops outfit bundle can be purchased for $20.
Just like last season, you can progress through the tiers by playing the game, or speed through the pass by spending 150 Crowns per tier. Season 2 is live now and runs until January 22nd of next year.
Alongside the season two update, H1Z1 received a handful of updates and bug fixes. Leaderboard statistics have been reset, and an issue that caused inaccuracy in statistics has been resolved. 10 new daily challenges have been added which can be completed for a small a reward of the non-premium currency.
