Gran Turismo is Now “Very Stable” on the RPCS3 PS3 Emulator

In November, it was reported that Polyphony is looking into the possibility of developing a PC port for Gran Turismo, but at the moment, that isn’t the main priority.

Well, if you’ve been waiting for the day Gran Turismo is playable on PC, that day has finally arrived, although there’s a catch!
RPCS3 has announced on Twitter that Gran Turismo is now stable on the emulator, making it playable on any PC that can run it. If you don’t already know, RPCS3 is an open-source PlayStation 3 emulator that allows gamers to play PS3 games on their PCs.
This is simply one of the many PS3 emulators. If you’re interested, we have a complete guide on the best PS3 emulators that you can check out here.
It is important to note here that while Gran Turismo games on RPCS3 cannot be considered fully playable just yet due to some graphical and performance issues, the current stability of the emulator makes sure that the experience is great for those with capable PCs.
The one drawback to this is that the only games you would be able to play will be those that are available to the PS3 only. Other than that, the team is constantly developing and optimizing the application, and we will make sure to keep you updated on all developments as new information becomes available.
