Google’s “Send to your devices” Feature Makes it Easier For You to Share Webpages With Other Devices

You must be familiar with the “Continue on PC” feature available on Android smartphones. You can use it to share webpages opened on your Android devices to your Windows systems. However, Windows users always wanted the sharing capability to be available vice-versa.

Luckily, Google has decided to address this issue and the search giant is currently working to offer “Send to your devices” feature for Chrome. This new feature will be available as an option in the context menu of the browser. For instance, there are times when you would want to share an interesting webpage from your computer to other devices. You will simply right-click on the webpage that you want to share and click “Send to your devices” from the list of options.

You will see a list of devices that are linked with your Google account. Select your specific device and the web page will be shared in no time. Google is gradually rolling out the feature to all the users. If you haven’t got access to the feature yet, you might have to wait a little longer.

Navigation & Dark Mode Improvements

Google has rolled out a number of interesting changes as a part of a recent Chrome 77 beta release. These changes are meant to improve your overall browsing experience. The web app developers can now use a new attribute named enterkeyhint to decide the functionality of the Enter key. For example, when a user is typing some text in an online form, this attribute will decide if Enter keys will be used to submit the form, choose a checkbox option, or jump to the next field.

Furthermore, dark mode is now getting smarter with the release of Google Chrome 77 beta for Android devices. The browser will limit the color inversion in dark mode and this change applies to those images as well that contain more white color. Additionally, the chances of your browsing turning grey text to bright white are also minimized. The other words, you should expect a comparatively better ready experience.

These changes are now live in the latest Chrome Canary release for Android devices. You can head towards the Google Play to enjoy the latest features.
