AR lens and stickers have been out for quite some time. And, they are one of the most exciting and fun apps one would find in their phone. From the interactive lenses to the cute stickers, all of them offer a variety of stuff to do with your phone’s camera. Google Playground, the AR Stickers application, was announced by Google in October this year. Just a couple of days ago, Google announced that the app is now available for Pixel, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Today, Google Playgrounds got ported to all ARcore devices.
As XDA-Developers reports, “Thanks to the work of XDA Senior Member Arnova8G2, however, you can now get Google Playground on all ARCore supported devices—without even needing root!”. We tried the modified app on our OnePlus 6, and it worked like a charm. There are a few bugs, like some alignment issues in the front cam, but they are pretty much insignificant. To use Google Playgrounds, users must download the ARCore app first. ARCore is supported by limited devices, but the list is expanding every month. Once ARCore is installed, users can download Arnova8G2’s modified Playground APK from the following links:
Google Playgrounds – What’s Different from Google’s AR Stickers?
Google Playgrounds was the replacement to Google’s AR Stickers. Though it does seem like a rebrand, there are a number of added features and improvements. Playgrounds includes interactive characters, and sticker suggestions. Moreover, stickers can now be placed via the front-facing camera. For Marvel fans, there is a Marvel sticker pack as well, but it is available for Pixel owners only as of now. The full list of sticker packs can be found below:

Note – You will also need to install Google Cam, where you will find the Google Playgrounds tab.
