Android users are getting Error 936 while downloading or updating any app from Google Play Store. The error message reads *App Name* could not be downloaded due to an error (963). If you are using android based smartphones such as Samsung, LG, or HTC, this error might be occurred. There are various reasons for getting this error on Google Play Store. The main two reasons for getting this error are
- Corrupted Cache Problem
- SD Card Crash
In this article I am going to teach you how to fix these problems. There are three ways with which we can fix this problem.
Method 1: Fix Google Play Store
There are chances that the Recent Google play Store update is causing this Error, There are every chance that the Updated Version of Google play store may have Compatibility Issues. So in this case, you will need to uninstall the updates of play store.
Go to Settings >> Application Manager >> All >> Google Play Store.
Tap Force Stop and click
Tap Clear Data and click
Tap Uninstall Updates and click
After completing step 2, 3 and 4 restart your device and try installing or updating apps from Google Play Store.
Method 2: Unmount SD Card
Unmounting SD Card on your Phone might just help you to get rid of Play store error 963, What we are going to Do is, Unmount SD Card, then Try to Update/Download the app and lastly Remount SD Card.
Go to Settings>>Storage.
Tap on Unmount SD Card and click
Now try to downloador update the application that was causing a problem.
Go to Settings>> Storage >> Re-mount SD card.
Method 3: Clear Apps Cache
Your App Cache/data can cause this error too, so let us first try and Clear the Cache of your Apps, Simply Perform below Steps.
Go to Settings > Apps > All
Select Google Play Store > Clear Cache & Data.
Select the app that was showing the error and Clear cache and data.
