Google is ready to roll out Pixel 3 but there is one aspect that is yet to be discussed by the company. So, we are left with rumors and leaked information. The latest tidbit reveals some of the changes made to Google Assistant Button through Pie 9 update.
With this brand new version of the launcher, the user should expect some changes including the Assistant icon placed on the home screen. Another change worth mentioning is the Assistant on the G pill on the app drawer, bigger spacing between icon, adaptive icons, and changes to the opaque area on the app switcher.
Interface that appears when you enter split screen mode has been changed as well, the pop-out effect is no longer a part of it. The interface also changed when a user pins the app or check its info.
You can download the new Pixel launcher via an APK Mirror. While you can download it, you need to make sure you are using Android Pie 9. Otherwise, your device won’t support it. The requirement to use Android Pie 9 means only a handful of device types can download the APK.
