Google Assistant came to Android devices around 2 years ago and over this time it as changed now and then. For better or for worse, changes have been made and we are going to get some new ones around the corner.

Talking about the new features of the Google Assistant, the visuals are a bit bigger which will make them easier to see. Other new features are included as follows:
- New controls and sliders to manage your smart home devices.
- An interactive messaging interface so you can use your fingers to add a comma, change a word or make any other quick edits as you compose messages.
- On Android phones, it’s now easier to access an overview of your day. Open up the Assistant and swipe up on your screen to get curated information based on the time of day and your recent interactions with the Assistant.
- Developers and brands now have tools to take full advantage of the phone screen. Starbucks now has thumbnails to select from recommended items on their menus.
Google Assistant has got very clever and smart over the years and new features make it better. When it comes to design changes, usually people don’t like that. People become accustomed to design and when a design change comes along then people don’t really like having to learn their way around the interface. It will be interesting to see what fans have to say about how the new Google Assistant looks.
The new design is meant to help with input whether it is with your voice, text or both and it will be interesting to see how helps everyday users.
