Worth the Trouble?

If you manage to buy the RTX 4090 before launch then here’s something you should know beforehand. The official drivers will go live by the 12th of October so you’ll essentially be stuck with a handicapped 4090. To make matters worse, the GPU may straight up fail even with the current drivers. Therefore, that is a risk you should account for.

The RTX 4090

NVIDIA’s top of the line RTX 4090 is powered by the AD102-300-A1 GPU. Fueled by 16384 Cuda cores and 24GB of G6X memory clocked at 21Gbps, this behemoth wreaks havoc on even the most demanding titles. NVIDIA has promised a 2-4x performance uplift as compared to last-gen. The validity of such claims will only be proven by reviewers.
