Freesync supporting Samsung TVs for smoother gaming experience

Good news for gamer(s) on the release of Freesync supportive new line of TVs by Samsung that will help with a smoother gaming experience by preventing screen tearing. This software update was rolled out to specifically support QLED line of TVs 2018 and Microsoft’s Xbox is working in partnership with Samsung to bring to life this new software update that will support features just as that of Microsoft Xbox X.

What is actually being done by FreeSync is that it increases the refresh rate of the screen to match with that of the game’s thus allowing an even and smoother gaming experience by actually decreasing the glitching frequency of the screen or monitor.

However this software update was previously available only for the PC gamer(s) but thanks to partnership with Microsoft Xbox now this update will also be available to other users of Xbox One X and Xbox One S. Moving on from the PCs the company is thriving to make the update work on TVs but you still need to have the “right” TV to make things work which maybe threatening limitation. The list of TVs that are expected to support this software smoothly includes;¬†¬†Samsung’s Q6FN, Q7FN, Q8FN, Q9FN, and the NU8000. If a user can care to afford these Tv sets then there is a fair guarantee of enjoying the updated software.

Another serious issue that company itself warned about is the brightness issue that will occur from time to time on normal TV. The complaint which came to the surface by the user was about the resolution that was set to 1080p and would not return to normal on its own unless and until the FreeSync software has been turned off.

The new update is aimed at enhancing the game experience and is worth giving a shot to, the quality is definitely expected to improve.
