Report Suggests Forza Horizon 5 Might Release Next Year
Forza Horizon 5 might be ready, claims Journalist

Jeff Grubb, who was the first to predict Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remaster, now claims that Forza Horizon 5 will release next year.
The GameBeat’s Journalist revealed in the Xbox Empire Podcast that Forza Horizon 5 might release earlier than its brother title, Forza Motorsport.
“We saw Forza Motorsport get teased a few months ago [but] I think we might get the next Forza Horizon game first, and I think that might be coming this coming year,” Jeff said in Xbox Empire Podcast, “They’re in a weird situation where for some reason, Playground says it does seem like they may be ready to go first. I think I know the setting, but I’m going to let them announce it.”
Forza Horizon 5 releasing before the already announced Forza Motorsport wouldn’t make sense. But, knowing that Forza Horizon 4 is one of the key Game Pass titles, I think Microsoft will push the release of Forza Horizon 5 to make it more interesting. In addition to that, I genuinely feel that Microsoft has to make up for that Halo Infinite delay. Also, Forza Horizon 5 releasing somewhere next year would fit well in the current stock shortages and become a decent system seller in 2021.
Besides, Playground Games has now expanded to a bigger team. Previously, they were only developing Forza Horizon titles, but now, they are also working on the AAA Open World Action RPG Fable Game, which would join Xbox Series X/S and Microsoft Windows.
Although this does sound like a bit of speculation, but given Jeff’s accurate history of predicting upcoming titles, we’ll look forward to this and keep you updated.
