Fortnite: Battle Royale’s Season 4 is here!

Challenges and rewards

The fourth season of Fortnite: Battle Royale is here and we are eager to tell you all about it. There is so much to explore this season that one usually gets overwhelmed by the sound of it. Season 4 will be ending on 9th of July, and the holders of Battle Pass will have 10 weeks to complete their challenges to unlock the rewards.

What’s new about Season 4?

The first thing we’d like to share is that if “Dusty Depot” was your favourite place to land, then you might have to reconsider your option as it has been replaced with “Dusty Divot” after the meteor crashed on our poor island.

Around the crash site, you will find many purple-coloured “Hop Rocks” which give one the ability of low gravity jumps for a little while until they collect more of them. We found them pretty cool, to be honest. In addition to that, 7 new superhero-themed skins have also been introduced.

The weekly challenges are exclusively for the Battle Pass holders, but there are other daily challenges too, which can be completed to unlock certain rewards. The daily challenges are more inclined towards the battle based quests.

Challenges, Week 1:

  • Follow the treasure map found in Tomato Town — 10 Battle Stars
  • Search F-O-R-T-N-I-T-E letters — 5 Battle Stars
  • Deal damage with sniper rifles to opponents (500) — 5 Battle Stars
  • Search for 7 chests in Haunted Hills — 5 Battle Stars
  • Use a Port-a-Fort — 5 Battle Stars
  • Pistol eliminations (3) — 10 Battle Stars
  • Eliminate opponents in Flush Factory — 10 Battle Stars

Tomato Town Treasure Map:

There are always some challenges in which we have to run about here and there looking for certain treasures or collectables. Searching for the F-O-R-T-N-I-T-E letters and the Tomato Town treasure Map are the ones for the first week of Season 4. We’ll save you some effort and guide you to the location of the treasure.

If you’ve been playing Fortnite for a while then you probably know where Loot Lake is. If not, you can always look it up on the map. The treasure is hidden near the “E” of the word Lake. You will find a wrecked boat there in the middle of the water. You just have to get on the boat and the treasure will itself appear and you can collect it.  Simple as that.
