This is mandatory if you want to claim the Gwent card keg. Go to this link and click subscribe and claim to add The Witcher: Enhanced Edition to your GOG library. Once you have completed the checkout process, the game will be available to download from your collections. After the process is complete, you can unsubscribe to the newsletter without losing your new game.
The Witcher 3 features a collectible card game called Gwent. It is now a standalone free to play game currently in beta. Kegs are essentially card packs which will give you four randomly picked cards and a fifth one that you can select from a set of three. If you have an account on Gwent, you can claim a free keg by subscribing to the GOG newsletter.
Released over ten years ago in 2007, the original Witcher will feel like a relic once you start playing it. The game feels very different compared to its future installments. At times, even the enhanced edition will feel weird and confusing. The story and quests, however, are still thrilling and exciting throughout the game. Old players will enjoy the trip down memory lane and fans of the new games will be curious to explore the origins of Geralt of Rivia.
It’s a free game and the process does not take longer than a minute so it is definitely worth grabbing. The website does not say how long this offer will last so you better hurry up.
