Final season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead comes this summer

The final season of The Walking Dead, the popular drama adventure game by Telltale, now has a set release date. As Telltale announced last year, the final season will be released sometime in 2018. According to the teaser trailer posted earlier, The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be launched on 14th August 2018.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season

“Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.

As she builds this new life, you will have to grapple with new types of choices as AJ looks on, learning from your every move. A new over-the-shoulder camera system, greater freedom to explore detailed environments, and scenes with unscripted combat create the most engaging The Walking Dead game yet.”

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection

Player who pre-order the game will receive The Walking Dead Collection starting 8th June. The Collection version brings you hours of exciting gameplay with improved visuals in one package. The full package includes all 19 existing episodes, combined for ease of access.

In addition to the multiple language packs, The Walking Dead: The Final Season will feature an “all-new Graphic Black art style” which will offer a surreal experience on 4K and HDR compatible devices.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will cost $19.99 once it launches on 14th August on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Starting Friday, PC players can pre-order the game via Steam, GOG, GamersGate, or the Humble Store to receive a 10% discount.
