The Pre-Orders For Final Fantasy 16 Will Go Live Alongside The Game Awards 2022, Industry Insider

As reported earlier this month, Final Fantasy 16 might get an official release date at The Game Awards this year on 8th December with a playable demo before the game’s official release. We cautiously concluded that by considering all the information we had at that time, as the Final Fantasy 16 director, Yoshi-P revealed in an interview that the game’s development had been completed 95% without giving any other information or hint about the release date. 

However, it is already confirmed that Final Fantasy 16 will be released in the Summer of 2023; still, that is not enough for the fans; they want a solid release date. And according to a recent claim by Insider Gaming, the pre-orders for Final Fantasy 16 will go live alongside The Game Awards 2022 either on 7th December or 8th. 

Still, the sources that revealed this news to Insider Gaming were not able to confirm an exact date for the pre-orders of Final Fantasy 16 and a brand new trailer to confirm the release date of the game. Yoshi-P, the game’s director, hinted in his interview that the release date would be revealed before the year’s end but was cautious about revealing any other valuable information about the game. 

We plan to release the information again later this year, so I think we can say it at that time”, I don’t think it’s going to be over the summer, so I think it’s okay.

I’ve been used to the development environment for online games for the past few years, so I was a little surprised that I had to master it so quickly. If you think about producing physical discs, shipping them all over the world, and so on, it takes several months of physical time after mastering up. When I say that the development status is 90% and 50%, I think there will be voices saying “Please release it immediately”, but there are such circumstances…”
