EA Sports FC 24 to Launch on September 29, 2023

The release date for EA Sports FC 24 has apparently been leaked. According to the leaker, @bilbill_kun, the game will be released on September 29, 2023. This is also consistent with the previous release dates for the FIFA series, which have typically been in the August-September timeframe.

Also, @ALumia_Italia revealed that the closed beta for EA Sports FC 24 will be available on Xbox Series X and Xbox One. The size of the beta is 41.57 GB for Xbox Series X and 39.23 GB for Xbox One. This means that the game will be available on older generation consoles, as well as next-gen consoles. (No information is available on PlayStation just yet)

We know that the FIFA branding will no longer be used for the game, as EA and FIFA have parted ways. FIFA is now working with a range of third-party studios and publishers to develop other, new football games.

The decision to part ways with FIFA was reportedly due to a disagreement over licensing fees. FIFA was asking EA to pay $1 billion to use the FIFA name in its games, a fee that EA felt was too high.

Despite the change in branding, EA Sports FC 24 will still be a huge release, mostly due to the fan-following it has accumulated over the years. The game will feature all of the same content as previous FIFA games, including real-world player names, official leagues and competitions.

What does this mean for fans of FIFA?

The change in branding is will most probably not impact the game in any major way. The game will still feature the same content and gameplay that fans are used to.

It remains to be seen how the new licensing agreements will affect the game in the future, though we know that the game won’t deviate away from its predecessors, when talking about the general gameplay, and hopefully licenses too.

Can EA Sports FC 24 be as successful as FIFA?

It’s basically the same game!

But, at this point, it’s too early to say whether EA Sports FC 24 will be as successful as FIFA. However, the game does have a strong foundation, and EA has been in the industry for a long time, and knows how to make things right, esepcially sporting titles.

If EA can continue to deliver high-quality content, there’s no reason why EA Sports FC 24 can’t be a great sell. At this point, this is all we know, but rest assured that we will keep you updated on all developments as new information becomes available.
