Microsoft’s Bing Wallpaper App Automatically Sets Bing’s Daily Photos As Your Desktop Wallpaper — Here’s How To Download
Microsoft has released a new Bing Wallpaper app for Windows 10 users. With this new app, your PC will automatically set the Bing image as your desktop wallpapers on a daily basis. In addition, in case if you don’t like a particular wallpaper, Bing Wallpaper app allows you to switch between the daily wallpapers via the system tray.
Microsoft’s General Manager for Bing Growth and Distribution, Michael Schechter, announced the news on Twitter (via WindowsCentral). According to Schechter, this is the only way Microsoft allows you to “set the Bing homepage image as your desktop wallpaper”.

Amongst some other notable features, the app brings the ability to perform a complete search on Bing. Microsoft explains the features as follows:
Bing Wallpaper includes a collection of beautiful images from around the world that have been featured on the Bing homepage. Not only will you see a new image on your desktop each day, but you can also browse images and learn where they’re from.
How To Download & Install Bing Wallpaper App On Windows 10
Bing Wallpaper app comes with a collection of beautiful images that have been featured on the search engine’s home page. However, Microsoft didn’t ship the app on Microsoft Store and you need to download it manually from the official websites.
Like all other Microsoft apps, Bing Wallpaper app encourages its users to set Bing as their default home page across all browsers installed on their machine. However, if you are a Google fan who doesn’t like to use Bing, you can simply uncheck the boxes to complete the installation process, without doing any changes to your default search engine.
But no matter what you choose, you will still need to deal with a Bing logo that sits on your desktop. Since the images are pretty nice, probably the Bing logo isn’t something you can’t tolerate. - Head over to the official website and click “Install now” to download Bing Wallpaper app.
- Once BingWallpaper.exe is downloaded on your PC, run the file and click Install now button.
- Wait for the installation process to complete and click the Finish button.
- Now navigate to the system tray to explore the Bing Wallpaper app.
