Diablo IV Boosts Hype With New Gameplay Footage Leak
The highly anticipated fourth instalment of the Blizzard franchise, Diablo IV is well on its way preparing for an official release. But with such grand releases come some equally grand leaks and it’s pretty much the case for the upcoming Blizzard IP.
Diablo IV Footage Leak?
Fans hungry for the upcoming Diablo IV are in for a time of their lives. Before they get to finally play the game, players can take an in-depth look at a leak that showcases an hour’s worth of footage for the highly anticipated next entry into the series.
If you want to take a look at Diablo IV’s footage, make yourselves at home because we’ve got it right here. It appears that the footage has been captured from a friends and family beta build of the title. It showcases a really good look at the general gameplay that the title has to offer users. We get to take in a lot of gameplay mechanics.
But remember, this is footage from an early build of the game so anything portrayed within the video doesn’t relate to the final release build. Things may be removed or retained along the way so take the footage and its contents pertaining to the game with a grain of salt as the title is far from release.
Diablo IV’s version of Sanctuary is massive, and every inch is rife with opportunities for adventure. Character customization in the game is richer and more extensive than ever, and players will be able to let their curiosity (and perhaps foolishness) guide them through over 140 dungeons and dozens of side quests in their pursuit of victory over Lilith’s forces . . . and ever-more-powerful gear.
Mighty world bosses pose added challenges throughout Sanctuary, encouraging players to team up with others they encounter on their journeys to defeat them and reap their treasures. And for the first time, players can forever alter the world around them by conquering and converting corrupted Strongholds into friendly outposts. – Diablo IV
As for the game’s release, Diablo IV is expected to hit the shelves sometime next year on PC and consoles. The fourth entry into the franchise has promised to overhaul the experience that users are accustomed to.
Players will get to enjoy richer and improved character customization experiences along with the ability to explore over hundreds of dungeons. As for the direction the game will take, expect an open-ended experience and a whole lot more along the way.
Diablo IV has been given a tentative 2023 release window depending on how the game shapes towards the end of its development period. It’s probable the game might get delayed. There are a lot of factors at play here considering Microsoft is in its final stages of taking control and acquiring Activision Blizzard, so that might or might not affect the development of the game.
As for how Diablo IV is shaping up? It looks pretty good so far and most fans are awaiting the fourth instalment of the franchise. We’ll most probably get one of the richest Diablo experiences to date. But then again, it’ll come down to critics and gamers to decide. Time will tell.
We got a Quarterly Update from Blizzard back on August 18, 2022. The development team promises a live service direction with up to four seasons a year for the title. Players will get to create a fresh character for every season with a pay-to-win direction. Any purchased cosmetic items will be strictly cosmetic and won’t offer any in-game advantages.
Today we’ll be talking about some of what’s coming to Diablo IV after the game ships. This is often referred to as a live service, and we have ambitious plans here. Our associate game director for live service, Joseph Piepiora, and our director of product, Kegan Clark, are here to talk details. Everything they describe is in addition to delivering the complete Diablo IV experience, the rich endgame features you expect at launch, and regular expansions that continue the story.
Diablo IV’s Seasons are modelled after those of Diablo III. When a new season begins, all the characters from the prior season are moved to the Eternal Realm, where you can keep playing, levelling up, and collecting loot. To play in the new season, you’ll create a fresh character and experience the new seasonal features and content while levelling up alongside other players.
This, along with capping paragon points in Diablo IV, ensures that your effort and skill—measured by both dexterity and theorycrafting —determine how powerful your character becomes. It also allows players who missed the last season to participate. This season design requires that all sources of character power come from playing the game, so you will not be able to pay for power in Diablo IV. – Diablo IV Blog
Diablo 4 will release for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Microsoft Windows.
