Sony Blog has just announced that the PS5 launch title, Destruction AllStars release date has been delayed from November 2020 to February 2021. To compensate for this disappointing news, Sony will include the game for two motions in PlayStation Plus completely free.
Other than the delay, the blog also says that the game will have a newer trailer and gameplay footage released next week.
“we’ll return with a brand-new trailer and more details on the game, so you’ll know exactly what to expect when you download it in February”
Destruction AllStars was announced as a launch title for PS5 earlier this year. As of yet, we haven’t seen much of the game. But so far we know, it’s a vehicular combat game, where players take control of one of the 16 AllStars. Each star has access to a unique vehicle, that has further individual ability depending on the class. The whole game is circled around derby, players using their vehicles to destroy each other. Once a car is destroyed, the player has to make his way to the arena, while finding ways to tackle enemy vehicles. There is more twist, as players can use their unique abilities and rejoin the derby.
Those who pre-ordered the game will receive automatic refunds.
