Days Gone To Push PS4 To Its Limits According To Developer

Will Be Best In Its Class When It Comes Out

Days Gone is one of the most anticipated games that is going to be coming out in the near future. It is unfortunate that the game has been delayed to 2019 but I guess it is best keeping in mind that I would rather wait and have the developers make the game better instead of playing a version of the game that is further away from the vision of the developer. The game is another PS4 exclusive that could sell millions.

We have also heard that Sony will not be showing Days Gone at E3 2018. While that is another bit of sad news, there is a silver lining. We have some new information regarding the game and it reignites the anticipation for the game. The development team behind Days Gone has said that the game will push the PS4 to its limits which is not surprising keeping in mind the game is to release next year and the hardware inside the PS4 is 5 years old.

According to the developers behind Days Gone:

We’re definitely pushing the PlayStation 4 to its limits. The first thing to be clear about is, we are Sony. Sony Bend is Sony. We have a whole team of producers, they would come down monthly. They’re constantly working with marketing and PR and outsourcing to make sure that what we’re building is something we can sell because that’s important, but also something that’s worthy of first party because we’re part of Sony.

The PS4 has already had a couple of great exclusives including Horizon: Zero Dawn by Guerrilla Games, God of War and Uncharted. It seems like Days Gone aspires to be on that list as well. It should be interesting to see how much work the development team behind the game will be able to put in with the additional time that they have.

What we really want to do is create something that is best in class for the kind of game that we’re making, that’s super important to us.

Let us know what you think about Days Gone and whether or not this is a game that you are interested in checking out when it comes out.
