“It weighs roughly 1.1GB, but implements changes to already existing files, meaning around 60GB of data has to be changed,” reads a tweet from GOG regarding the patch size. “That’s why GOG GALAXY needs roughly 70GB of free space for the patch to successfully update.”
Patch 1.1 contains a couple dozen bug fixes in all categories such quests, open world, UI, visual, achievements, and miscellaneous. This includes bugs where players would have to restart missions or load saves to progress through a point.
On the performance side of things, the PlayStation 4 and 5 version of Cyberpunk 2077 did some performance optimization of crowds. Xbox-specific changes include improving the memory usage for character creation, mirrors, scanning, camera remote control, menus on all such consoles.
The PC version of the game has been changed to allow achievements to be unlocked whilst Steam is in offline mode. Furthermore, game startup crashes on NVIDIA graphic cards have been addressed.
