The CRYORIG C7 RGB is an updated version of the CRYORIG C7. The biggest update is that better materials have been used in order to make the CRYORIG C7 RGB and the fan is even more silent as compared to the old one. RGB lighting is a good addition to the mix. Now you can sync the colors of your motherboard, peripherals and other hardware parts with the CRYORIG C7 RGB.
The small CRYORIG C7 RGB heatsink will come in handy when you are building in small form factor cases. If you are fans of ITX builds then this is something worth considering. The CRYORIG C7 RGB will not interfere with the RAM and you are unlikely to encounter any issues when putting all the parts together.
With the CRYORIG C7 RGB you get 4 6mm nickel-plated heat pipes and a total of 57 heat sink fins. The spacing between the fins of the CRYORIG C7 RGB is 0.4mm. The rated TDP of the cooler is 100W TDP. This should be plenty for any mainstream CPU provided that you are running it at stock speeds. This is a very thin an low profile cooler so do not expect to get major overclocks when using the heat sink. It is not what the cooler has been designed for.
The heat sink comes with a 92mm fan, there is a push-in style screwing mechanism which makes it easy to install. Thermal paste is pre-applied so all you need to do is remove the thermal paste from the CPU and install the cooler and you are all set.
CRYORIG has been in the CPU cooling business for a long time now and the company has introduced a couple of amazing products and we expect nothing less from CRYORIG. That also applies to the C7 RGB. While we do not know the price of the CRYORIG C7 RGB but the cooler is going to be released at Computex 2018 so we should be able to find out more about it then.
