Contrary to earlier reports the upcoming TWS earphones from Samsung will be called ‘Galaxy Buds Pro’

As the year-end is coming close, the rumors around the upcoming Galaxy S21 devices and their peripherals are getting more frequent.  Reports suggest that Samsung may unveil the next iteration of its flagship truly wireless earphones with the Galaxy S21 smartphones.

A few weeks ago, we reported that Samsung had trademarked the name “Buds Beyond,” and it seems these will be the upcoming flagship galaxy buds. However, later reports suggest that Samsung may refrain from using “Buds Beyond” as the name of the upcoming TWS earphones.

Now, a report from Gizmochina reveals that these will be named “Galaxy Buds Pro,” and Samsung will reveal these alongside the Galaxy S21 lineup. The term ‘Galaxy Buds Pro’ was actually revealed via Indonesia’s telecom certification bureau. As it turns out, the same buds have already been certified by China’s 3C and Korea’s KRR certification.

As far as the specifications of these devices are concerned, there is not much out there; however, the information is coming slowly but surely. The Galaxy Buds pro will come with a 472mAh battery similar to the Galaxy Buds Live released earlier this year. Another similarity between the Buds Pro and Buds live may be the ANC capabilities. Reports have also suggested that these will not offer the beads-like design of the Buds live; rather, these will be based on the design of the original Buds and Bus+.

The production of these devices will start in Vietnam in December and January. To cater to the American and Canadian markets, production will be extended to Brazil later in February.
