Computex 2018 is one of the biggest tech events of the year and we are looking forward to checking out what different companies are going to be showing off. ASRock has mentioned a couple of things that the company will be showing off at the event and here we are going to talk about that.
For starters, we will be seeing the mainstream B450 motherboards that will support AMD Ryzen CPUs. The new motherboards will support the 2000 series as well as the older one but you might need a BIOS update. It is possible that the BIOS is already updated. That is something that we will have to wait and see but compatibility has been confirmed across the board for the AM4 socket.
We are not only going to be seeing AMD motherboards but Intel motherboards as well. These should also be the mainstream motherboards supporting the mainstream Intel CPUs.The exhibited items include:
- Intel 300 series motherboards
- AMD B450 series motherboards
- ASRock Phantom Gaming series display card
- World-leading “blockchain” and “high-performance computing” solutions
- Mini PCs and Mini-STX motherboards with Intel 300 Series chipset
ASRock Phantom Gaming series graphics cards have already been revealed but if they have been mentioned on the list then that means that there might be more to the series than what we already know. It is possible that ASRock is planning on adding new graphics cards to the series, which means that we could be getting new graphics cards in the ASRock Phantom Gaming series. ASRock has been in the hardware scene for a long time now and we are interested in checking out what the company has to offer.
Other than that, we will also be treated to Mini PCs and STX based systems. If you are interested in small form factor builds then this is something to keep an eye out for. The exhibition dates are June 5th to June 8th. Computex 2018 is right around the corner and we will be able to learn more about the ASRock booth at the event. Stay tuned for more information.
