Fix forgotten alternate fingerprint password on Galaxy S5

Samsung Galaxy S5 has a built in finger print scanner. You probably know this and have probably lost the alternate password which is why you’re here.

Well! You’re  Welcome because you’ve come to the right place.

There are ways you can do this, first is by deleting registered fingerprints and the second  is by using the Android Device Manager but i am not discussing the ADM method however, you can research it and it’s widely available on the internet. It is not recommended for people with less technical skills.

Delete all the registered fingerprints

1. Go to Settings -> Finger Scanner

2. Delete all fingerprints from here. After all the registered prints are deleted (by long pressing them and deleting each finger print) the lock screen will go back to normal (swipe)
