Asus AIO liquid coolers and PSUs have been shown off at Computex 2018. While the company is best known for making motherboards and graphics cards, it seems that Asus is expanding its product portfolio and that is a great thing for consumers. Asus is a major player and with Asus entering into the AIO liquid coolers and PSU segment of the market, competition will increase and that is always great for the consumer.
ROG RYUO 120 and RYUJIN 240/360 are the two coolers that will be coming out soon. the latter is a unique cooler that features a fan on the water block. This will not only keep the CPU cool but will also cool the VRMs and other parts of the motherboards. The Asus AIO liquid coolers will be available in 240mm and 360mm radiator size.
If this seems like too much then there is a traditional style cooler as well, the ROG RYUO 120. This one does not have a fan in the CPU block and comes with a 120mm radiator. Images of the Asus AIO liquid coolers have been included.
Moving on to the Asus power supplies that were revealed at Computex 2018 we have the ROG Thor Platinum which is a 1200W power supply. 1200W might seem like a lot and you would be right in thinking so but then again this is for enthusiasts that are using overclocked CPUs along with multiple graphics cards so that additional power should come in handy in such builds.
The PSU comes with RGB lighting which is something we have seen become a trend in 2017 and has since carried forward to every PC hardware component that is visible. If you have a glass side panel then you will be able to show off the ROG Thor Platinum in all its glory. If 1200W is too much for then you can opt to get the 850W version as well.
While we do not know the pricing or availability of these upcoming Asus products, we do know that the PSUs will be coming out sometime in the third quarter of the year, so stay tuned for further information.
