Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Will Take Players To Greece

The Next Installment In The Franchise

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has been teased ahead of E3 and from the looks of things, the game will be set in Greece, if the name did not give it away you can guess it from the 5-second teaser that was shown on Twitter. We should be getting more details regarding the title at E3 2018. The event is only a few days away so stay tuned for more updates regarding Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

The top comments on the posts requested that developers take their time with the game and seeing how well Origins turned out to be, I think that Ubisoft should really take that into consideration. The teaser seems to have taken a page from 300 but not saying this is Sparta seems like a missed opportunity.

It should be interesting to see what kind of improvements and new mechanics Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will have to offer as compared to Origins. Keeping in mind that the previous game took some serious time, it is highly unlikely that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be coming out this year and that fans would most likely want a game that is well polished besides a broken one.

Ubisoft has gone back to older times, first, we got Egypt and now we have Greece. I for one would be interested in a modern day Assassin’s Creed game and it has been confirmed that Assassins Creed and Watch Dogs are in the same universe, so a modern day Assassins Creed game should be very interesting indeed provided that it is executed well enough.

I for one would be very pleased with such a game, but seeing how things are moving we might not get that kind of game for a long time. Ubisoft has made a couple of Assassin’s Creed games and we have got 2 Watch Dogs games, so I do not see why they both cannot be merged together.

Then again it is up to Ubisoft. They could show off the game at E3 and then release it later on in 2018.

Let us know what you think about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and whether or not this is something that you are interested in checking out.
