Apple TV+ Release Date and Pricing Announced, Free Subscription For a Year When You Purchase An Apple Device

Apple first announced Apple TV+ earlier this year. Today, at their flagship event, the company announced further details about the platform.

Apple aims to go against the likes of Netflix and the upcoming Disney+. Of course, this would mean that the company would have to give something these companies do not give. Apple brings about new originals with the service. According to Tim Cook, who showcased the service, the Apple TV+ would be available to users by the 1st of November, in selected countries.

Apart from the announcement, Tim Cook announced a new movie called See that would be coming along with the release as well. According to him, this would be joined with other shows and movies such as The Morning Show at the time of release. Apart from that, he announced the service to start at 4.99$ a month. Additionally, users who would buy an Apple TV device would get a year worth of Apple TV+ for free.

This is a very competitive price compared to the competition. It now depends upon the content available to see how good it would stand against the likes of Netflix and Disney+. Sadly though, people who were waiting for a new Apple TV have to wait as Apple didn’t announce a new device yet.
