Apple May Push Apple VR Glasses To Make Room for Apple Glass: High Performing, High-priced Products

Apple is considered a pioneer of innovative technology. We saw this ever since the first iPod. Now, Apple has a diverse portfolio of products in its lineup. Now, we have also gone through a lot of rumours about Apple Glass. While we thought we were going to see it last year, there is still no sign of the product. There is a recent article from Apple Terminal, they quote Bloomberg’s exclusive report on the development of this product.
Bloomberg:
Prototypes of the upcoming "Apple VR" headset includes a processor more powerful than the M1, external cameras for hand-tracking, allows users to type virtually in the air, and will be a very expensive, high-end product.https://t.co/T2uf3SCihx#Apple pic.twitter.com/v7chG36nNP

Now, what we take from the article is that the VR headset is scheduled for a launch in 2022. So that’s another year added to its timeline. For the chipset, to support good performance, it would support a chip even more powerful than the M1. Till then, we would actually see better iterations of the processor.
As for the design, we still don’t know what it would look like but it would have cameras all over and a fan in it to support even high demanding applications. Now, Apple would be working tactfully to maintain a consumer base for its eventual Apple Glass. This would be the first iteration, focused on the digital realm. It would be focused on games. The company plans on getting consumers and developers hooked to it to eventually make room for the Apple Glass. Now, how do they plan on doing so.
In natural Apple fashion, they would be pricing it very high and not in the regular 500-900 dollars range. Apart from that, they would be producing these in very limited numbers. This means they plan on selling one device per day, on average. Now, let’s see how they actually pan out with it. This is just based on reports and speculations. Perhaps, the end model and product are completely different.
