Apple May Delay AirPod Studio Announcement As Leak Suggests Production Would Not Be Complete Till Late October

Apple has not been doing so well on its manufacturing deadlines this time around. The company was hit hard during the coronavirus outbreak and it really took a toll on the company’s timeline. We already saw the iPhone event be delayed. Secondly, there has been a lot of manufacturing fault news around the internet as well. Weeks ago, we got to know via leaks that Apple would be announcing the AirPods Studio soon as well. All the signs pointed towards the iPhone event this month. But now, things seem a bit off. Not just off but also off course. According to a recent tweet from Prosser, lately everyone’s lead guy on all the leaks, Apple is falling behind in its production for the upcoming, premium headphones.
Interesting note about AirPods Studio from a source:
“AirPods Studio mass production isn’t complete until October 20th.
I suppose they could still announce them at the October 13th event and ship them at the end of this month or beginning of next.”

Now, we look at it in more detail in an article on Apple Insider. According to the article, this anonymous source does say that Apple would not be done manufacturing the AirPods Studio till the 20th of October. That pushes us into a dilemma. Apple has an event, probably, lined up for November as well. Would they skip this month’s event to make room in the next one for its audio products? These would include the new HomePod and the AirPods Studio. Currently, we are pretty sure that the company would be announcing its new lineup of iPhones and probably the AirTags this time around.
Perhaps they may include these in this month’s lineup and leave room for a late November launch. That may be the case as well but as of now, we can know that AirPods Studio are still, at least, a month away from being in consumers’ hands.
