Apple May Be Upgrading the Entry-Level iPad: 10.5-inch display, A13 Bionic Coming in at $299

Apple’s tablet game has been quite on point. Back in the day, people did ridicule Apple for the design but since then, the tech has reached new heights. Today, iPads are focused at replacing designing machines for many professionals out there. These are powerful machines with Apple’s proprietary chipset and now, these come out in many sizes. Different prices allow an iPad for different users which is a big plus for Apple. This is because the company is considered a luxury brand. But, currently, you could get your hands on an iPad for $329 only.

The current generation of the entry-level iPads are quite similar to the older iPad form factor but according to recent reports posted on GSMArena, we may be seeing another device in the coming year. According to the article, the form factor would remain the same, mainly. It would follow a similar design to the 2019 iPad Air. This would mean it would be thinner and lighter. Additionally, we may see a larger screen on it as well. The current iPad 8th generation has a 10.2-inch screen. Apple may increase it to 10.5-inches, making the bezels comparatively smaller.

Additionally, as the report suggests, the entry-level would come in at 64GB. It would also support 4GBs of RAM and an A13 Bionic, setting it right for future ageing in the technology realm. Finally, the report does claim that the price-tag may go down for the 9th generation iPad. According to them, it would come in at $299 for the 64GB starting model. While this does sound like an amazing deal, there are very slim chances that Apple would decrease the price. We would know for sure later, in the first quarter of the next year where the company is headed with this.
