Apex Legends Season One Battle Pass Leaked on Origin Store

Apex Legends’ first season of content is due to start very soon. Although we haven’t received an exact date, the battle pass is expected to launch later this month. However, as suggested by a leak on Origin, the battle pass might be releasing sooner than expected, and players might be in for a treat.

Apex Legends Battle Pass

As reported by Dexerto, the reveal poster for Apex Legends’ battle pass was accidentally shown to several users. The image not only revealed the price of the pass, but also confirmed the existence of a new Legend. As we already know from numerous leaks, Octane is the new High Speed Daredevil character coming to Apex Legends.

Furthermore, we now know that the battle pass will cost 950 Apex Coins. You’ll need to spend $10 for 1000 Apex Coins. The cost is very similar to the battle passes of other battle royale games, and is just what we expected it to be.

Regarding the actual content of the new season, there might be a lot more than we initially thought. The image text says that there are “new weapons” and “unique loot” coming to the game. As we learned from recent datamines, Respawn is planning to add lots of new content like the flamethrower, remote turret, and maybe even NPCs.

Earlier today, AMD tweeted saying that the “Battle Pass and Season 1 are on the horizon…”. They further stated that “Tuesday ushers in balance patches for some of your favorite Legends,” likely referring to the changes coming with the release of season one. However, AMD later clarified that they were misinformed and made a mistake.

As for the poster shared on Origin, neither EA nor the developers have commented on it. Nevertheless, it shouldn’t be a long wait before season one of Apex Legends kicks off. It will be interesting to see what kind of new content is added in the update.
