This CPU is supposedly the R5 7600X. The variant used in this test runs at a rather high base frequency of 4.4GHz whereas the boost can go up to 4.95GHz.
For reference purposes, it was compared against Intel’s i9-12900K. To everyone’s surprise, it crushes the Alder lake king by sometimes over 22%. Unfortunately, we cannot compare the new Raptor Lake CPUs as the competition will not be fair due to them using a different benchmark.

When put against its predecessor, the 7600X takes a massive, and I repeat a massive lead of over 50% in single core testing. Such a massive gain in performance is unexplained, indicating that this may be the 7600X3D.
