Assassin’s Creed Titans Is Allegedly Back in Development at Ubisoft Montreal

Last year, in August, it was reported that Assassin’s Creed Titans was delayed for the time being, and no development was being done for it. This was done to focus more on Assassin’s Creed Infinity, however something intriguing has surfaced online earlier today that suggests otherwise.
A recent leak on 4chan has revealed some new details about the rumored Assassin’s Creed Titans. The game is said to be in the works at Ubisoft Montreal, and has been completely reworked from what the game was originally intended to be.
According to the leak, the game is a brawler looter title mostly like Gotham Knights and Avengers. Players will be able to choose from four different classes, each with its own unique ultimate ability. The game’s primary hub area will feature several past Assassin’s Creed protagonists as NPC allies. For example Edward Kenway, Bayek, Evie Frye, and Altair.
The leak also claims that the game has been in development since 2018, but that the current version has only been worked on for about a year. The game is said to revolve around a character who is trapped inside of a new version of the Animus machine and must find a way to escape.
It’s important to note that this is just a rumor at this point, and there’s no guarantee that Assassin’s Creed Titans will actually be released. It is exciting to see what the game has in store, but the question to ask is how did the leaker actually get hold of this information. I mean it’s only been a year, and unless he’s part of the team at Montreal, it’s difficult to classify this as a credible leak.
Regardless, we will make sure to keep you updated on all developments as new information becomes available.
