How to Solve Helldivers 2 Stuck on Ship Loading Screen?

Helldivers 2 players are getting stuck on the ship loading screen which causes the game to freeze at the loading screen just displaying the ship and not proceeding the game further. This issue is related to a recent game patch, specifically Patch 1.000.10 and also occurs due to server overload or connectivity issues. 1.  Toggle your Internet

Disconnecting and then reconnecting to the internet can potentially fix your issue, as it will try to re-establish the connection with your server and possibly fix the issue. If you are using an Ethernet cable, then just unplug it and plug it back again, and if you are using Wi-Fi connectivity, then turn it off and on to see if the loading screen has been completed. You should do it without leaving the game.

2. Verify Game Files Integrity

The issue can also be caused if your game files are missing or corrupted. To fix this, you can verify the game files that you have installed, and it will detect if something is missing and automatically download it for you.

This solution is exclusive to PCs; unlike PCs, the PlayStation 5 does not have the option to verify game files. On the PlayStation 5, you might have to wait for an update or reinstall the game.

  1. Open Steam Library and locate your game.

3. Turn off your Firewall

Your firewall can also cause the game to get stuck, as it might block connections to the server, ultimately making you stay on the cinematic loading screen. Turning it off can help you fix the connection issue between you and the game server.
