Samsung S24 Series May Launch in January 2024, A Month Earlier Than Usual

Samsung has maintained a low profile in the flagship segment for a while now, especially since most of the attention has naturally been directed towards the S23 Fan Edition, which was launched last month to mixed reviews.

Now, however, as we approach the end of the year, rumors about Samsung’s Galaxy S2x phones are on the rise, and we may have just received information about the device’s potential release date—it’s launching sooner than expected.

Samsung May Hold the “Galaxy Unpacked” Event on January 17, 2024

Tipster Ice Universe has just announced on Weibo that Samsung may be eyeing the Q1 2024 timeframe for the launch of its flagship S24 series. He mentioned that Samsung Unpacked may be set for January 18th, where these phones would be first announced.

Not only this, but another report from SBS Biz seems to confirm that Samsung will launch the S24 line of smartphones on January 17, 2024. It’s important to note that this release date is oddly a month earlier than when we expect Samsung to reveal its newest smartphones. Perhaps it’s due to the pressure from iPhone 15’s strong market position, or it’s simply a move to counteract the underwhelming semiconductor business at this time.

Either way, from the looks of it, it does seem that Samsung is betting on its ‘savior,’ the Galaxy S series to improve its sales outlook in the market. Till then, this is all we know for now, but rest assured that we will keep you updated as new information becomes available.
