Fix: Google Widget Not Working

It’s not once that you’ve tried using a particular app or widget on your phone and it doesn’t work. This issue is common in many Android devices. It may be caused by an interference with other apps, simple updates made by developers, accumulation of cache data, or any other related issues. One particular widget that is subject to such issues is the Google Search widget. Multiple Android users have reported cases of the widget not displaying typed searches and even not working at all. This can be really frustrating. We are all fond of Google because it gives us an experience of having a personal assistant in our pockets. Some of the error messages that you may receive are “Unfortunately Google Search has stopped working” and “The request was not performed because there was no connectivity”. Sometimes, you may type in your search and get no response at all. An alternative that Android phones provide is pressing and holding the Home button to access the Google Search widget.
